A last minute opportunity has allowed us to schedule a two day workshop on Dec. 12 and 13, open to all players 15 kyu and stronger. The workshop will be conducted in English and has two teachers, Ms. Yoonyoung Kim 4P, and Mr. Hyunwoo Kim. Yoonyoung Kim won the Kisung Women’s Tournament in Korea in 2010, and also a Gold Medal in the 2010 Asian Games. On some English websites she is listed as Kim Yunyoung. Hyunwoo Kim is a former insei who majored in Baduk Studies at Myongji University, Korea. $70 general fee, $45 for students and voting members. This workshop was made possible by the Korean Amateur Baduk Association (KABA).
The workshop will run from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, Dec. 12, and from 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday, Dec. 13.
